COVID 19 Travel Update

Since the last blog I wrote on this subject I am delighted to say that the news on the travel front is a lot more positive.  Here is a quick update.

Budget airlines are starting to fly again this week.  RyanAir are already flying to Italy and as I write are adding more routes to Cyprus, Greece, Belgium and Portugal.  Then from 1st July they will be including Malta and Spain.  Easy Jet have announced that they will initially be flying on domestic routes across the UK and France as well as introducing a minimal number of international routes.  As customer demand continues to increase and restrictions are relaxed both of these airlines will gradually add more routes.  Check out their websites for the latest information.

Package holiday companies, TUI and Jet2 have announced that they will be starting again on 15th July and are busy re-launching their summer programmes which is wonderful news.  By this date air bridges will be in place and quarantine will be removed for UK arrivals making it possible for us  travel again, albeit to a limited number of countries.

I know a lot of you have had to postpone your honeymoons as I have been busy the past few weeks re-booking them for next year.   Of course, this has the knock-on effect that popular honeymoon destinations are getting very booked up for 2021, so I would strongly advise anyone planning their honeymoon for next year to book sooner rather than later.

Travel providers are sending me regular updates so please get in touch to find out the latest news, advice and offers.  I will also be doing another Facebook live on July 1st . Join me for that and I can answer any questions and talk through other issues you may want to discuss.  Otherwise I can be reached by clicking the live chat below, on 0203 441 6848 or email [email protected]

Take care and stay safe.

Britt
